The cross-registration program provides you with the opportunity to take classes at partnering colleges and universitiesAs per Rosemont College's inter-institutional cooperative agreements with other institutions of higher learning, full-time undergraduate students may register for courses at other schools.

There's no additional tuition or fees associated with cross-registering, except for special or extra fees that are part of the course (lab fees are one example).

 Cross-Registration Details

  • To qualify for courses at the listed institutions, students must be registered full-time in the Traditional Undergraduate College, and have completed at least one year as a full-time student.
  • The course chosen should not be offered at Rosemont during the same semester and will not apply to accelerated or weekend courses, independent study, tutorials, internships, practicum, field experience, student teaching, or to per-credit-hour or graduate courses.
  • Students can take no more than one course per semester, beginning the semester after their first full year completed at Rosemont; the arrangement is only in effect during the Fall and Spring semesters.
  • The grade, quality points, and credits earned in these courses are recorded on Rosemont students’ transcripts and will affect their semester and cumulative grade point average.
  • Rosemont students enrolled in courses at these institutions are subject to the calendar, schedule, and regulations of the institutions. It is the student’s responsibility to identify and follow all guidelines. On issues of academic honesty, policies of the host institution will prevail.
  • Students are responsible for all travel to and from the partner institution.
