Career Services
Rosemont's Career Services partners with faculty in the education of our students as they strive to gain a greater knowledge of self, and how they choose to have an impact on the world. The faculty, staff, and administration of Rosemont College consider service to students as our most sacred obligation. This dedication is rooted in the college's mission and gives embodiment to our belief in the dignity of all individuals, regardless of their origins or faith.
We strive for excellence, not only in our academic programs but in the quality of the services we provide to our students. PGS fulfills its educational mission through our individual counseling sessions with students and our programming. We believe it is important to be informed and knowledgeable about the world around us, one in which our students will actively participate in as leaders making a difference in their chosen fields.
Career exploration is an essential part of students' career development and we are committed to providing students with many opportunities to test their notions about careers and gain valuable experience.
Essentially, the driving force that motivates us to do what we do in our work, is our care for our students. We are committed to helping them find careers of personal meaning.

First-Year Student Career Counseling
First-Year Career Counseling seeks to engage students in professional development from the very beginning of their collegiate career. Our counseling starts by supporting students regarding their choice of major as it relates to their interests and career goals. As they then begin to immerse themselves in academics, extracurricular activities, and civic engagement, we encourage reflection on their involvement and illustrate methods to effectively and professionally communicate their experiences to others.
Students who engage in First-Year Career Counseling will also build and polish their professional documents, learn about effective networking techniques to help them explore different careers, and understand how to grow a professional network. By mastering these objectives, students will be better prepared for all professional opportunities they will encounter during their time at Rosemont.
