Congratulations on your upcoming graduation from Rosemont! It's time to celebrate!

Baccalaureate Mass: Friday, May 17

Our Commencement Celebration will begin on Friday, May 17 with our Baccalaureate Mass at 5:00 pm in the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception. All graduating students, families, faculty, trustees, and staff are invited to attend. 

Commencement: Saturday, May 18

The Commencement Ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 18th outside on Connelly Green. The ceremony begins at 10:00 am and is expected to last until approximately noon. The Ceremony will be livestreamed on the College's Facebook page.

Connelly Green will open for guest seating at 9:30 am. There is no reserved seating and no tickets are needed. No smoking will be permitted on Connelly Green.

Spectator Information:

Rosemont wants to make Commencement an enjoyable experience for everyone, and we appreciate your help as we honor our graduates safely and respectfully. To ensure that all guests have an unobstructed view of the ceremony, signs, flags, placards, banners, and large balloon displays are not permitted.  Additionally, alcoholic beverages, coolers, controlled substances, wrapped gifts/packages, artificial noisemakers, whistles, including airhorns or bullhorns, firearms, fireworks, knives, scissors, needles, razor blades, or weapons of any type are prohibited. Any of the above items, or any item brought to campus, that poses a safety threat, or concern, or causes a disruption to the ceremony will be confiscated and its possessor asked to leave the campus.

Inclement Weather Information:

Please note that the Commencement Ceremony will be held outside on Connelly Green in the event of rain.  If it is raining, please come prepared for the weather with umbrellas and low-heeled footwear. Clear plastic ponchos will be provided to all graduates and members of the platform party in the event of rain. The Commencement Ceremony will only be moved inside if the weather poses a threat to safety (i.e. – lightning, hail, high winds, etc.).

Guests with Special Needs:

Guests attending the Commencement Ceremony who need handicapped parking accommodations are asked to email the Office of Public Safety at PublicSafety2@Rosemont.edu by May 17th. Ushers will be available to help guests with seating.
