The Margaret M. Healy Fund for Faculty Research in Ethics and Leadership

The Margaret M. Healy Fund for Faculty Research in Ethics and Leadership supports faculty or faculty/student team projects examining the intersection of ethics, leadership, and social responsibility. Research supported by the fund is expected to result in the publication of a peer-reviewed article, a conference presentation, web resource, art exhibition, or curriculum design.

Projects must have substantial ethics content, with special consideration given to those which seek to examine a contemporary moral issue that has implications for public policy, professional practice, democracy, human flourishing, or social justice.

Applications from faculty in all disciplines are encouraged, but are limited to those who have served as full-time faculty for a minimum of two years. Award recipients will be designated Institute Fellows for the duration of the project and will share the fruits of their research with the campus community at a presentation toward the end of the spring semester.

Grants will serve to support conference travel, purchase of relevant materials, student research assistance, or any other legitimate expenses which support the research. Grant opportunities and applications are announced toward the end of the Spring semester.
