Eligibility Requirements

In order receive financial aid, students must meet certain eligibility requirements applicants must:

  1. Be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen.
  2. Be fully matriculated into a degree program.
  3. Be enrolled at least half-time (4.5 credits/semester for graduates; 6 credits/semester for undergraduates) for loans.
  4. Be making Satisfactory Academic Progress if previously enrolled at Rosemont College.
  5. Be in compliance with Selective Service registration requirements.
  6. Not in Default on a prior student loan or owe money on a federal student grant.
  7. Regarding the PA State Grant, a student must be enrolled at least continuous 15 weeks per semester; for example, enrolled in all three five-week sessions.
  8. Students must attend more than 50% of classes in one of our on-site locations (versus online) in order to be eligible for PA State Grant (for undergraduate students only).
  9. Summer PA State Grant students must complete a separate state grant application at www.pheaa.org and meet the above enrollment requirements.
