Graduate and Professional Studies Tuition Discounts

At Rosemont, we're dedicated to helping you get the best education at the best value. In addition to standard financial aid (applied for on the FAFSA website), we offer many discounts through partnering employers and schools. We also offer tuition discounts to alumni who wish to continue their education through SGPS courses.


 All discounts can be applied for through the iNet, which can be accessed through Rosemont's intranet site, the iWay. To access the iWay, you must be registered at Rosemont. For questions regarding whether you qualify for a tuition discount, please refer to the list below or contact the Office of Financial Aid.

Available to all bachelor or master degree graduates of Rosemont College. This includes graduates who transferred to Rosemont from another institution. The 25% Alumni Discount is available only for classes taken in the Schools of Graduate and Professional Studies. The student does not need to be enrolled in a degree program to receive this award.

Available for employees, and dependents and spouses of employees, employed full-time by Amtrak. A discount equal to 30% of tuition will be applied to all classes taken in the Schools of Graduate and Professional Studies for qualifying students

Available to undergraduate Bryn Athyn students with a GPA of 3.5 or higher, who are looking to take part in our Bryn Athyn articulation agreement into Rosemont’s MA in Counseling or MA in Education programs. A discount equal to 25% of tuition will be applied to all classes for qualifying students.  

Graduates who earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology or a Social Science may be eligible for a 25% discount on all coursework taken in the Master of Arts Program in Counseling at Rosemont College by earning a grade point average of 3.5 or higher during their undergraduate experience.
Available for employees employed full-time by CHOP (Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia). A discount equal to 20% of tuition will be applied to all classes taken in the Schools of Graduate and Professional Studies for qualifying students.
 Available for employees, dependents and spouses of employees, employed full-time by the City of Philadelphia. A discount equal to 25% of tuition will be applied to all classes taken in the Schools of Graduate and Professional Studies for qualifying students.
Available for all full-time employees of county, state or federal correctional facilities.  A discount equal to 15% will be applied to classes taken in the School of Graduate and Professional Studies for qualifying students.  
 Available for all full-time employees of magisterial, county, state, or federal courts.  A discount equal to 15% will be applied to classes taken in the School of Graduate and Professional Studies for qualifying students.  
 Available for employees employed full-time at EdAssist companies outlined in their client list. A discount equal to 10% of tuition will be applied to all classes taken in the Schools of Graduate and Professional Studies for qualifying students.
 Available for full-time teachers and counselors. A discount equal to 20% of tuition will be applied to all classes taken in the Schools of Graduate and Professional Studies for qualifying students.

Rosemont College provides a 15% discount to Explorations staff and approved contractors who enroll in classes that are part of a degree or certificate granting program within the Schools of Graduate and Professional Studies.

Available for employees of a given business, organization or other entity through which at least five members of that entity are enrolled in a degree program in the Schools of Graduate and Professional Studies in a given academic year, evaluated during the fall semester.

A discount equal to 25 % of tuition will be applied to all classes taken in the Schools of Graduate and Professional Studies for qualifying students. 

Available for Independence Family of Companies employees that are part of a degree or certificate program. A discount of 30% will be applied to all classes taken in the Schools of Graduate and Professional Studies.

Graduates who earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology or a Social Science may be eligible for a 25% discount on all coursework taken in the Master of Arts Program in Counseling at Rosemont College by earning a grade point average of 3.5 or higher during their undergraduate experience.

 Available for all full-time law enforcement officers, sheriffs and dispatchers.  A discount equal to 15% of tuition will be applied to all classes taken in the Schools of Graduate and Professional Studies for qualifying students. 
Available for Main Line Health System (MLHS) employees that are part of a degree or certificate program. A discount of 20% will be applied to all classes taken in the Schools of Graduate and Professional Studies.
Available for Rosemont College MFA in Creative Writing graduates or Rosemont College MA in English & Publishing graduates returning to take additional classes as non-matriculated students. Unlike other tuition discounts, this program is not eligible for financial aid and will therefore be processed in the Office of Student Accounts. There are no credit limits or time limits to this 50% discount.
Available for all full-time private security officers.  A discount equal to 15% of tuition will be applied to classes taken in the School of Graduate and Professional Studies for qualifying students.
For students enrolled in the Schools of Graduate and Professional Studies who refer a friend or co-worker to the GPS. The referring student will receive a 15% tuition discount for one three credit course in the session or term after the referred student completes and earns a grade for his or her first course at Rosemont College. The form must be completed prior to enrollment of the new student. A student can only receive one refer a friend discount per class.

Available for employees and dependents and spouses of employees, employed full-time by Septa.  A discount  equal to 30% tuition will be applied to all classes taken in the Schools of Graduate and Professional Studies for qualifying students.
Available for employees of the Shipley School for classes in the SGPS program. A discount equal to 25% of tuition will be applied to all classes taken in the Schools of Graduate and Professional Studies for qualifying students. Shipley School will also contribute an additional 25% discount to their employees enrolling in these programs at Rosemont.
Available for employees of WHYY. A discount equal to 25% of tuition will be applied to all classes taken in the Schools of Graduate and Professional Studies for qualifying students.
