Adjunct Professor
Dr. Jennifer Benjamin is an Industrial and Organizational Psychologist who currently functions as an adjunct professor for the Graduate Counseling Program and the Undergraduate Psychology Program at Rosemont College. Dr. Benjamin holds a Professional Counselor license in the state of Pennsylvania,
Additionally, Dr. Benjamin is a faculty member of the Philadelphia Child and Family Therapy Training Center. The training center oversees the training and fidelity of Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy for the state of Pennsylvania Medicaid programs. Dr. Benjamin’s roles include Clinical Trainer for staff and program directors, training development/implementation, and evidence based assessment outcomes.
Dr. Benjamin, a former Clinical Director of a community mental health clinic for children and adolescents, developed several clinical expertise working with emotional disturbed youth with life-threatening behaviors, family systems trauma, and parent training. Dr. Benjamin obtained speciality certificates in several evidence-based practices. These include Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, running a comprehensive Dialectical Behavioral Therapy program for 11- to 18-year-old clients, and running a Family Base Mental Health Program in Delaware for children at risk for being placed out of the home. Finally, Dr. Benjamin spent 10 years as an experiential corporate trainer, game designer, and training manual developer for Action Centered Training.
