Caleya Simmons' Story

Studying: Communication

When I was in high school, it was discovered that I had an abnormal blood vessel in my brain. I was operated on to remove the vessel. It was located near the part of my brain that controls my speech. God gave me a voice, and I plan to use it. I am a Communications major here at Rosemont. My professor, Katie Baker, has helped me fall in love with Communications. She inspires me. I find POWER in writing. I was writing a paper just now, and I was enjoying myself so much that I lost track of time. I am meant to talk, and Rosemont is helping me learn how I can use my voice.
