Isabel "Bel" Acosta's Story

I am a junior at Rosemont, and I am an English and Communications major. I am very happy to be at Rosemont. I am from a little town in Texas. When I first arrived on campus, my view of the world was pretty small. I have gained so much and become open to new ideas and new people by being part of such a diverse community. That really is the POWER that small can have. Even though Rosemont is small, my world has grown. I have learned through Rosemont that you don’t have to stay in one spot. You can be bold. Your ideas can grow. I do not have my future plans solidified yet. I love to write, and I hope to be published. I am excited to see where life takes me and to use my voice.
