Luvonda Fuller's Story

Studying: MA Counseling & BA Psychology Dual Degree

I didn’t know what to expect from Rosemont until CARES Day. From then on, I knew I wanted to be here. I learned that the Counseling Center allows students to see the same counselor all four years, which was important to me. I want to take care of my mental health just as much as my physical health. I’m an RA and a student ambassador, and I was Miss Rosemont. I’ve gained the POWER of awareness and adaptability. Yes, I’ve adapted to other places, but I never had to adapt to a whole time period. In the future, I’d like to be a clinical psychologist and start my own practice. When I’m unhappy with a situation at Rosemont or anywhere, I say, ‘Hey, let’s try something else,” and people listen. At Rosemont, we welcome voices from all walks of life. When I leave here, I can say I was a part of the College. Someone at a larger school probably can’t say that. At Rosemont, even the president knows my name.
