Alyssa Springer's Story
Studying: Elementary Education
I am here at Rosemont all the way from Texas. This is the place where I’m able to develop the POWER to be my own person. Here, I am Alyssa, not just a number. I have been given the opportunity to fall in love with my major, which is Education. All of my professors are actual teachers. If I’m learning about autism, my professor can share a story about an actual child she has taught with autism. I’m currently student teaching a pre-K class at Community Partnership School in Philadelphia. I feel very confident about getting a teaching position when I graduate because of the guidance and mentorship I have received at Rosemont.
