Debra Corcoran, MS
Adjunct Instructor
Debra Corcoran is a Sergeant in the Philadelphia Police Department assigned to the Philadelphia Police Academy with a vast knowledge of the law and the criminal justice system. She served as a supervisor in high crime areas throughout the City of Philadelphia, as well as the Communications Division.
Corcoran believes the most important component of law enforcement is community policing as it can make a difference in both the lives of the residents as well as the women and men she serves alongside of.
The pride of her distinguished career is being assigned to the Training Bureau where she can share her education, training, and experience with the future generations of the Philadelphia Police Department.
