Rosemont College Ranked #5 in the Nation for Homeland Security by Forbes Advisor

Rosemont, PA -- Rosemont College is proud to announce that its master's program in Homeland Security has been ranked #5 nationwide by Forbes Advisor for the second consecutive year. This prestigious recognition highlights the College’s dedication to providing students with a comprehensive education in homeland security, with a distinctive emphasis on ethics and social justice principles.

Rosemont’s Homeland Security program prepares students for a wide range of careers including roles in emergency management, cybersecurity, criminal justice, law enforcement, national security, and public health. With a curriculum that combines practical knowledge with a strong ethical foundation, the Master of Arts degree in Homeland Security and Emergency Management at Rosemont College equips students with the skills to analyze, mitigate, and manage complex issues related to all natural and human-made disasters while upholding the values of justice and integrity.

Rosemont’s Homeland Security program is a part of the Naval Postgraduate School’s University Agency Partnership Initiative (UAPI) and the US Department of Homeland Security’s FEMA Higher Education Program.   

Rosemont’s program offers a unique interdisciplinary approach, blending criminal justice, political science, and cybersecurity with real-world experience through internships and expert-led seminars. This comprehensive structure ensures that graduates are prepared to lead with purpose and professionalism in today’s evolving homeland security landscape.
