Rosemont Welcomes UArts Students

Katie DuBoff - June 1, 2024

The Visual Arts faculty of Rosemont College welcome students from the University of the Arts and will readily honor all transfer credits.

Rosemont will provide UArts students with a seamless transfer process. Our primary objective is to ensure a smooth transition to Rosemont, allowing you to continue progressing toward graduation without any unnecessary delays or expenses.

Rosemont College will honor all credits earned by UArts students when they transfer to Rosemont into the traditional undergraduate college or the School of Graduate and Professional Studies (SGPS) toward an existing or a comparable individualized degree at Rosemont. Students in master’s level degree programs will also be afforded similar opportunities. Rosemont will honor UArts students’ financial aid packages, and, in some cases, may even be able to offer stronger financial aid packages.

"Our hearts go out to the UArts community," said Jim Cawley, President of Rosemont College. "This is undoubtedly an emotional time. As UArts students start to process this news and consider their options for the future, I want to let you know that you have a home at Rosemont. Rosemont College is an ideal fit for UArts students. We offer small class sizes, individual attention, and world-class faculty who are both practicing artists and esteemed educators. Our supportive community is dedicated to helping each student thrive academically and artistically."

The Rosemont arts program is housed in Lawrence Hall, which includes an art studio, screen-printing lab, a state-of-the-art Mac lab, and the Patricia Nugent M. Gallery.
